The Lagos State Government has ordered the closure of markets and large supermarkets in the state in the bid to curb the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
The order was given by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday.
The closure order came on a day a former Lagos State Governor and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, met with Sanwo-Olu, and vowed to support the campaign to rid the state of COVID-19.
