CSP AGBOOLA JOINS LEAGUE OF EXCELLENCE AT TMNEWS AWARD 2018

CSP Agboola Abiodun Murhi was born to the family of Alhaji and Alhaja Agboola of Lagos Island on 4th October, 1972. He attended African Church centre school Isheri Lagos and Isheri Grammar school, Isheri Lagos before proceeding to Bayero University, Kano. He graduated with BA (Ed) Econs. Hons in August, 1998.

Abiodun did his NYSC within 1998-1999 at Government college yelwa, Keffi, Nassarawa state. He also attended the Nigeria Police Academy in 2000 as cadet ASP and passed out as ASP II in November, 2001. He was posted to sokoto command and later deployed to centre police station as DTO, DCO and PNG.

In march 2002 Agboola was confirmed as ASP 1, in December 2003 he was transferred to kano state and posted as P.A to the state commissioner of police.

In September 2004, he was deployed on United Nation Peace keeping mission to kosowo while on peace keeping, he served at the border unit and was awarded United Nation medal of merit for his performance and promoted to DSP on 1st march 2005. He came back to Nigeria as P.A to compol kano.

In June 2006, he attended Advance detective course (ADC) at the prestigious police staff college, jos. in August 2006, he was transferred to Anambra state and posted as DCO Ozobulu Division.

In March 2007, he left shores of Nigeria for his second deployment on peace keeping mission to kosowo, where he was posted to Gjilani and became station mentor for the local police men of the station and return to Nigeria in April 2008.

Agboola attended junior command course from January to June 2009 and got promoted to the rank of SP.

He was later transferred to force intelligence bureau in abuja where he served till December 2009, later moved to Oyo state police command, where he served as DPO Apete, DPO Iyaganku, OC GI, DPO Apata and DPO Jobele before moving to Ogun State command in September 2014.

He served as DPO Ajuwon division, OP's Officer at the department of operation Eleweran Abeokuta and later as DPO Mowe, where he was promoted to the enviable rank of CSP in 2015 and a proudly member of International Association of Chief of Police. He was transferred to Owode Egbado where he is currently the DPO.

He has received many awards from reputable Public Services such as Merit Award from National Youth Service Corps, Peace Ambassador from Nigeria Peace Magazine, Merit Award from mountain of fire and Miracles Akute Region, Credible Leadership and Excellence Award from Lead-Time African Magazine and Epitome of Peace Award from PCRC Mowe Division.
