COVID-19: OGUN TASKFORCE COMMANDER, DOUBLE EFFORTS TO ENFORCE STRICT COMPLIANCE
The Taskforce Commander on Illegalities, Ogun State, ACP Toyin Afolaogun has vowed to ensure strict compliance as stated by government at various levels in order to get rid of this deadly disease in our society.
ACP Afolaogun said this at CWAY Food and Beverages company in Ota, while on tour to assess the level Compliance of the second wave of covid 19 which to him is powerful and real.
According to him, Governor Dapo Abiodun -led administration is working rigorously to curb the menace of this pandemic in our society adding that as the number of cases increases, "we have buckled up to our responsibilities to curb the spread of this virus in the second face".
Afolaogun noted that people should know that Corona virus is real and spread faster which God for-bid goes out of control will be so ferocious and cause total shut down of the system as against the lockdown we experienced.
"The rate at which the number is increasing is so alarming which is sending wrong signal to everyone saying this is enough to set necessary precautions by obeying Government orders" toyin added.
He enjoined the residents in Ogun State to be law abiding and strictly adhere to government's order at this critical period adding that every one should use face mask, wash their hands regularly and use the opportunity to pray fervently.
The Admin Director of CWAY, Mr Moses Wang who received the Commander on behalf of the organization saying more efforts are being applied to enforce strict compliance within the environment .
He added that they have doubled efforts to do the needful in providing a larger parking space for long vehicles, moreso for government to achieve the set goal.
Meanwhile, the human resources manager, Mr Satish Menon stressed that the management has gone extra miles to comply to all government's directives as regards covid-19, urging people to obey government's order to alleviate this pandemic.
Compliance and Admin Manager, Adesayo Bunmi gave the appreciation remark on behalf of CWAY to end the remarkable visit.
