BUDGET 2021: OGUN TO COMPLETE ON-GOING ROAD PROJECTS –COMMISSIONER

 Ogun State Government has resolved to reconstruct the abandoned Atan-  Lusada-Agbara , Ilishan- Ago- Iwoye , Sango- Akute and Ofada- Mowe roads, among others in the year 2021.

Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Ade Akinsanya revealed this, while defending his Ministry's proposed budget for the year 2021, before members of House Committee on Budget and Appropriation, at the State House of Assembly Complex, Oke- Mosan, Abeokuta.

Engr. Akinsanya noted that the main objective of the budget was to complete all on-going roads, river crossing, as well as overhead bridges across the three Senatorial Districts of the State.

The Commissioner added that the Ministry would continue to look into roads with economic value and public priority for construction and rehabilitation in the coming year.

In their various remarks, members of the Committee commended the Ministry, on the quality of roads embarked upon in the last one and half years, advising that they should be fair and equitable in the selection process of road construction and rehabilitation for even distribution.
