BREAKING: TRUCK LOADED WITH PMS SPILLING CONTENT AT OTA TOLL GATE

 OLORUNDARE ENIMOLA, Lagos

A Mack truck with registration number, AKM 65 ZY, blue colour, loaded with premium motor spirit (PMS), has a ruptured tank in transit, resulting in the petroleum content spilling away right now at the Ota toll gate inbound Sango- Ota from Lagos.

An official of NUPENG, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the incidence occurred around 10am, Tuesday morning, revealing, that the truck was loaded with the petroleum content from Apapa, on its way to a retailer outlet in Ogun.

Men of the Ogun state Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, TRACE, NCSDC, FRSC, and Nigerian Police, in an effort to prevent an explosion has barricaded traffic outbound Lagos into Ogun and cordoned the scene from hoodlums.

A fire fighting tanker from Ota is already stationed nearby to control the inferno in case of an explosion.

As at the time of filling this report, traffic situation in that axis has worsened, making drivers to detour using alternative routes through streets and adjoining roads to move on.
