NECO POSTPONES COMMON ENTRANCE EXAMS: COVID19

As part of compliance with the Federal Government’s directives regarding the curbing of COVID 19 (Coronavirus), the National Examinations Council on Tuesday indefinitely postponed the 2020 National Common Entrance Examination into Federal Unity Colleges across the country.
The NECO in a statement signed by Head, Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani, and made available to newsmen, said it regretted any inconveniences the postponement might have caused.
Azeez said the decision is in deference to the various measures being put in place by the Federal and State Governments to curtail the potential spread of Coronavirus.
He added that the earlier scheduled date for the examination would have been March 28, 2020, but that a new date for the examination will be communicated to candidates and other stakeholders in due course.
Consequently, he disclosed that registration for the examination continues.
