Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has described the late Eruku of Egbaland and

Prince Dapo Abiodun made this known at the final burial ceremony of Chief Ebenezer Adedayo Atanda Abatan, held at the Cathedral Church of St. Peters, Ake, Abeokuta, saying the late politician who was a generous man in his life time lived a constructive life.

"Baba from all accounts lived a very constructive life, he was well lettered, a very consistent man and an astute politician. He was a prolific writer, a good orator, a kind and a very generous man", he said.

Abiodun while consoling the family he left behind, urged the people of the State to make effective use of their time, ‘’as time waits for nobody’’.

In his sermon with the theme, "Prepare Your Life", Venerable Olutoyin Olawale said that it was destined for everyone to die at an appointed time, admonishing everyone to put his house and life in order.

He urged politicians to deliver projects that would affect lives positively, noting that, whatsoever a man does lives after him.

The late Eruku of Egbaland and the Otun of Ijeun, Chief Ebenezer Adedayo Atanda Abatan, until his death was a member of the recently constituted Governor's Elders Advisory Council.
