Ogun State Property Investment Corporation (OPIC), is set to improve the infrastructures and services in all its estates across the State.
According to the Acting Managing Director, OPIC, Mrs. Ibiyemi Adesoye made this known at the 2020 budget defense of the ministry, held at the State House of Assembly, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, saying there is need to upgrade the amenities and services available in all the estates, to enable the agency sell more serviced plots for industrial, residential and commercial purposes, especially within Agbara and Abeokuta axis in the incoming year.
She further stated that plans were underway to expand OPIC presence by purchasing lands in areas where it had not been actively involved, especially in Ogun East Senatorial District, for construction of housing schemes, so that people in that locality could feel the impact of the agency.
Members of the House Committee charged management of the corporation to work on increasing its Internal Generated Revenue, by creating more awareness for its activities.
