Three persons survived, one confirmed dead (A pregnant woman) and sixteen missing as a boat carrying twenty passengers from Badore to Egbin in Ijede Ikorodu capsized.
According to the survivals the incident happened at about 10pm on Saturday, June 29.
Rescue team are still searching for Sixteen other missing passengers. The boat which was en route Egbin from Badore capsized minutes after takeoff.
No one was putting on a life jacket as the said boat driver was not on duty, he was coming from where he had gone to repair his boat, on his way coming back, he saw the passengers and they all begged him to take them to Egbin, Ijede.
The boat driver is also among the missing persons.
