Another success story from the mind of a stable non-political independent corporate professional media management organization known as TEMIS MEDIA on Wednesday 7th October 2015 organized a lecture to celebrate Nigeria at 55. According to the Executive Director and Producer Comrade Temidayo Babalola SPMIIM, Our mission at Temis Media is to contribute to the moral development of our various communities by showcasing an event enabling us to educate and promote social activities. TMnew Annual Lecture is endorsed by the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and Proudly Supported by Mercyland Event Centre with the aim to sensitizing and sanitizing the Students, Youths and the People of Ogun State at large. A platform to discuss security relating issues affecting our communities and giving sound knowledge to the People, promoting the richness of her culture and uniting the ethnicity of the Local Government from its geopolitical zones into one global community where peace and unity shall reign. The 2015 edition marks a decade HARNESSING KNOWLEDGE FOR CHANGE ADVOCACY, FURTURE EXCELLENCE AND NATIONAL COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE. Without gain saying, every one of us knows a child born cannot walk in a day, and whatever things left completely damaged will take quite a time to be completely fixed. As the memory of the later still lives on and its bruises still troubling our innocent minds, yet the visible developmental projects of this present, fresh and preferred media organization within its years marks a positive change as NIGERIA celebrates 55year of Independence, raises the hope of the People towards a better and beautiful tomorrow and this has proved beyond a reasonable doubt the impossibility of a child walking not in a day but gradually he will not only walk but shall kick the ball. Hon. Adekunle Abdulkabir Akindele Triple-A who is the chairman of the occasion in his welcoming speech said Poor upbringing, Poverty, Drug abuse, Unemployment, Crime, Cultism and Many other vises continue to threaten this tomorrow. It is worth mentioning here that the older the person, the more difficult it would be to change his or her behavior, it is a social law, It is therefore very timely for us as young people to come together and identify what we should do to better ourselves, our tomorrow and generations unborn. Therefore the theme of this program, HARNESSING KNOWLEDGE FOR CHANGE ADVOCACY, FUTURE EXCELLENCE AND NATIONAL COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE is on point. The paper talk was presented by the Ogun State Police PRO DSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi who was represented and Elder Emmanuel Oluwatoyin Taiwo JP indeed inspired the Students during an interacting session. The event also featured performing Artistes, OGOGO JESU, Extension, MC Bayo, Breakthrough and DJ Fred. Certificate of participation were presented to schools, associations and security agents at the event. Otunba Sunday Abogunrin Okosun JP C.E.O Isepe Ventures, Mr Shola Mekusi Publisher Maritimewatch, Elder E.O Taiwo, DSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Asiwaju Titus Babajide and other security agent boss were presented an award for their contribution to humanity and National growth; we call them MEN OF THE NATION.
